Infomix and Historia Nova awarded in the 13th University Entrepreneur Award

Summary

On February 18, 2016, the 13th Awards for University Entrepreneurs were awarded, awards that seek to stimulate members of the university community.

The 13th University Entrepreneur Award is organized by the Center for Entrepreneurial Initiatives (CIADE) of the Autonomous University of Madrid and the UAM Foundation, with the collaboration of the ACS Foundation, the 3M Foundation, Kutxabank, the Madrid City Council, through the General Directorate of Commerce and Entrepreneurship, the Madrid Science Park Foundation and the University Entrepreneurs Club – CARPE (Advice and Support Club for Entrepreneur Projects) of the UAM.

The General Directorate of Commerce and Entrepreneurship awards two prizes:

Madrid Emprende Special Award It consists of free accommodation for six months in one of our Business Incubators. The winning project was the one presented by  INFOMIX, a project in the field of Communication. Although their main objective is to create an online TV channel, they have currently expanded their lines of business and also do streaming TV, reports, etc.

The promoter is a young entrepreneur with strength and “very loquacious”. It is likely that during your stay in a co-working space, in addition to developing and improving your project, you will collaborate with other entrepreneurs.

Runner-up Prize Madrid Emprende: The winning project was the one presented by NEW STORY. It is a curious project within the creative arts that can be linked very well with the city of Madrid since its natural clients, in principle, are the city councils. His business is aimed at recreating the local history with a strong impact on tourism.
